The only downfall to our stay was the early morning delivery of food etc with the lorries outside our room. but this would not stop me from staying here again but I would request a different location of room .

Rooms are in a block next to the bar and restaurant. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room. TV had free view channels. Check in was easy, the staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and quality local produce were used, as well as the usual cereal, yoghurt, toast making facilities and fruit juices. Plenty of parking and convenient for a visit to Newcastle of Northumbria. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and recommend Michaelangelos.

The penthouse has much better beds than other rooms here but I still have the same complaint about the coffee. No hotel should ever serve instant coffee. Please just provide a proper nespresso or similar and proper coffee. It’s not that hard but unfortunately most hotels in the UK are like this. INSTANT COFEE SUCKS! Period, full stop.

"On arrival when I checked in they gave me a room on first floor which was not good as I would of struggled to get up and down those I added a note in the box when I booked saying I am disabled and need ground floor. The main hotel doesn't have a lift which was disappointing but it partly my fault ..."
